Configuring Netscape Communicator 4.5 or later

1. Open Netscape Communicator. From the "Edit" drop-down menu, select "Preferences."
2. Select "Navigator" from the left category menu, then put http://www.awesomenet.net in the "Home Page Location."

3. Now select "Identity" under "Mail and Newsgroups".
   (You might need to expand the "Mail and Newsgroups listing by clicking on a blue triangle, or a box with a plus (+) in it.)
4. Fill in the "Your Name" field with the name you'd like to appear on your outgoing emails.
5. Fill in the "Email Address" field with your Awesomenet email address.

6. Now click on the "Mail Servers" category. Click on the "Add" button, and type in mail.awesomenet.net in the "Server Name" field. Type in your username in the "User Name" field. Make sure you use all lowercase letters.
7. Click on the "OK" Button, it should bring you back to your mail server settings.
8. You should now have "mail.awesomenet.net" in the "Incoming Mail Servers" field. If there are any uppercase letters or something is misspelled, you can highlight "mail.awesomenet.net" and click on the edit button to change the POP server settings.
9. In the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" field, type in mail.awesomenet.net and put your username in the "Outgoing mail server username" field.
