Configuring an existing profile

  1. Select Edit, then Preferences.

  2. From the Category area, choose Navigator.

  3. In Location, type http://www.awesomenet.net.

  4. From the Category area, double-click on Mail & Newsgroups.   Select Identity.

  5. In the Your name field, type your real name.
  6. In the Email address field, type your Awesomenet username, followed by @awesomenet.net.

  7. In the Category area, select Mail Servers.

  8. Click on Edit if there is an existing server configured.   If not, click on Add instead.

  9. In the Server Name field, type mail.awesomenet.net
  10. In the Server Type field, select POP3 Server.
  11. In the User Name field, type your username.
  12. Check the Remember password box.
  13. Click OK.

  14. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type mail.awesomenet.net.
  15. In the Outgoing mail server user name field, type username.

  16. In the Category area, select News Servers.
  17. Click on Add.
  18. In the Server field, type news.awesomenet.net.
  19. In the Port field, type 119.
  20. Click OK.
  21. Click OK.
